Just another eye painting

Been really inspired to draw and paint lately. I picked up this small canvas and gave it a go with some new acrylic paints I just acquired.

Side note: People ask me often why I always draw eyes. The simple answer is because they are really easy and fun to draw and they convey so much meaning. But the bigger reason is that I am usually pressed for time and don't always have a concept ready to go, so the option is either make a quick doodle or draw some eyes. I have drawn detailed portraits and used to do it as a teenager when I had more time, so if you want to see some examples type in "michelle curiel illustration" in google and click on the images tab.
